It’s October and that means it’s Spooky Math Time! Every October 1 I start putting together ways to use my students’ excitement about “Spooky Season” to develop their math skills. When I used to be director of a math learning center, our Spooky Math event was actually one of our biggest events of the year. Parents and children came in costumes to have fun with math!

(Growing IQ was a great place for children to explore math- check it out if you have one in your area)

I have two posts on this site for October. Although I wrote them a couple of years ago I have checked the links today to make sure they all still work. Have a favorite resource I haven’t added? Please mention it in the comments.
